About this event

18 of the Top 30 Global Gurus for Negotiation come together for a live online charity event designed to help you negotiate better.

WHAT IS THE WORLD NEGOTIATION SUMMIT?

The World Negotiation Summit was created by Greg Williams and Giuseppe Conti, and supported by Global Gurus, with a simple ambition:

To bring together some of the most respected minds in negotiation and make their expertise accessible to a global audience.

On September 26, that ambition becomes reality.

For the first time, 18 internationally recognized negotiation experts will come together for a full day of live learning, discussions, and interactions. This Summit consists only of members of the Top 30 Global Gurus in Negotiation.

This is not a traditional conference.

It is an opportunity to learn directly from experts who have spent decades teaching, researching, and practicing negotiation at the highest levels across business, academia, leadership, and conflict resolution. Each guru will talk about their area of expertise.

Whether you negotiate contracts, lead teams, manage stakeholders, influence decisions, or simply want to become a more effective communicator, this event is designed to provide practical ideas you can apply immediately.

Who should attend?

The World Negotiation Summit is designed for professionals who navigate complex conversations and high-stakes decisions.

This includes:

  • Executives and business leaders
  • Sales professionals
  • Procurement professionals
  • Consultants and advisors
  • Entrepreneurs and business owners
  • HR and People leaders
  • Lawyers and mediators
  • Project and program managers
  • Anyone who wants to improve their ability to influence, persuade and negotiate effectively

Whether you're negotiating multimillion-dollar contracts or internal priorities within your organisation, the principles shared during the Summit are immediately applicable.

Who is in the room?

Eighteen internationally recognized negotiation experts, each bringing a distinct perspective, methodology and area of expertise.

What makes this event unique is not simply the calibre of the speakers.

It is the diversity of approaches.

Each expert brings different experiences, methodologies and insights, giving participants access to multiple perspectives rather than a single school of thought.

Rarely do professionals have the opportunity to learn from so many globally recognized experts in a single day.

What will you learn?

Throughout the day, speakers will explore topics such as:

  • Influencing without authority
  • Managing difficult conversations
  • Building trust under pressure
  • Conflict resolution
  • Leadership negotiation
  • Stakeholder alignment
  • Cross-cultural negotiation
  • Negotiation psychology
  • Persuasion and influence techniques
  • High-stakes decision making
  • Creating value in complex negotiations
  • Crisis and hostage negotiation principles
  • Negotiating under uncertainty
  • Internal negotiation and stakeholder management
  • How to deal with difficult people and challenging conversations

Each session is designed to provide practical insights that participants can apply immediately in their professional and private lives.

What does the day look like?

1:00 PM to 10:00 PM CEST

7:00 AM – 4:00 PM ET

The Summit runs from 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM ET, corresponding to 1:00 PM to 10:00 PM CET.

To maximize learning and engagement, the day includes two main formats:

Presentations

Each expert shares a core framework, methodology or approach.

The focus is on practical ideas participants can apply immediately.

Interviews

An expert is interviewed and shares successes, mistakes, lessons learned and insights gained through experience.

At the end of each session, there will be a live Q&A session where participants can ask questions directly to each expert.

Why negotiation matters

Most people think negotiation happens only during formal discussions.

In reality, negotiation influences almost every important professional interaction.

  • Negotiating budgets
  • Managing stakeholders
  • Resolving conflicts
  • Securing resources
  • Leading change
  • Building partnerships

The challenge is that very few professionals receive structured training in negotiation despite relying on it every day.

The World Negotiation Summit was created to help close that gap by bringing multiple world-class perspectives in a single learning experience.

The humanitarian dimension

A not-for-profit initiative

The World Negotiation Summit is a not-for-profit initiative.

100% of net proceeds will be donated to MSF Médecins Sans Frontières (Doctors Without Borders).

Around the world, MSF teams operate in conflict zones, disaster areas and humanitarian emergencies where access often depends on dialogue, trust and negotiation.

We chose to support MSF because negotiation is more than a business skill.

At its best, it helps create understanding, cooperation and positive outcomes where they matter most.

When you invest a ticket, you are investing in your own development while supporting a humanitarian mission that changes lives.
